What is Happening??????

Ok. So I have had my 3 daughters in only 2 pregnancies. The first time around my postpartum experience was pretty uneventful. The only thing worth mentioning is that I suffered some rough migraines about 9 months after delivering the twins. Thanks to Athens Neurology and Dr. Beaty that problem was solved quickly!

Needless to say I was totally unexpecting the changes that are occurring this time. I mean I only had 1 baby what could possibly happen. HAHAHAHAHA!

My hair is failing out in clumps! OK, that is fine since I have hair to spare, but my feet have gotten larger! I mean come on, is it not enough that my whole body has gotten larger!
At first I tought I was going crazy, so I asked my sweet friend Jana (she's a podiatrist) she said that after pregnancy ligaments relax and feet get wider.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So I have cleaned out 1/2 of my shoes and there are at least this many more :(
You might ask if I would do it all over again, by that I mean pregnancy and I would have to say yes! Each one of my children are worth a big butt, bigger feet, headaches, and baldness.

Ack! I know the hair thing is pretty bad...thankfully I had some to spare too, but it's a pain b/c my hair was everywhere! Sorry you are having to part with your cute shoes. Hopefully you can find new homes for them (ebay? and use the money to revamp your collection!) Sounds fun to me!

We were talking about how sweet & funny your girls are this weekend with Josh's family. His sister was so smitten with sweet Brennan!

Kristin, the same thing has happened to me. I was just telling my friend the other day that when I started college I was a 6.5-7. Now I am an 8-8.5. What? Crazy, but a great excuse for shoe shopping!

About Me

My photo
Me- well: I love God! I love people! I love my family! I love my husband! I love being a mom! I love having twins! I love my friends! I love children! I love teaching! I love my church! I love red wine! I love watching my children play! I love summer! I love the beach! I love bonfires! I love the lake! I love to laugh! I have the most wonderful husband- he takes care of me and helps me out when I over commit myself. I love being a mom- twins are great! I hate when people say, "I don't know how you do it!"- I just do what needs to be done. At the end of the day our house may not be clean and the clothes may not get folded and put away, but everyone is safe, fed, and loved. My friends- oh you mean the people I used to hang out with, but never see anymore! Yeah, I love them too. I have learned that God brings all kinds of people into our lives. Some of those people are great friends while you are in school, some are great friends while you are in college, and some are great friends at work or church. Then there are the few- the special friends that stick around for a lifetime. I am so blessed to have so many lifetimers!!!
